JV33 Print Quality

Hi guys

Our JV33 is playing up. Printed abot 200ft last week of a job, all good happy, though running at high res and at 32 pass, very slow, but gotta be done.\
Today started printing no. 2, same job, same ripped data, just press print.

Only way to describe is, not putting as much ink down so almost looks more washed out than previous run.

All nozzles are fine.

Any pointers appreciated.

Thanks

How old is the machine? JV33s are starting to get outdated.
What ink are you running, SS21?
When was the last time you replaced the dampers? Running high quality with a lot of ink non stop can cause drop out/light color and is hard on old dampers.
Have you tried a fill up ink (sometimes the dampers just get low)
Have you done a nozzle soak/custody wash lately?
Can you upload a pic of the test print? Remove the head cover and show a pic of the dampers?

We ran our JV33-130 for almost 7 years (last 2 just running banners and knockout) and just replaced it last November with a CJV150-150

Good suggestions above ^^^ Also, is your printing environment climate controlled? As the weather heats up and humidity begins to rise, if your shop is not climate controlled it can affect the print quality.

Thanks for the pointers fellas.

We got the engineer in, that output was dire. Dampers were all fine, nozzles all good. Turned out to be the strip sensor. replaced the sensor, updated the firmware to the latest mapping version. What a difference that made.

Also got the latest Oynx Postershop RIP instead of using Rasterlink.

Big difference, on we go.

Thanks
