jv4 error 51 y axis

This unit had been working absolutely fine up until Friday.

I'm not about to go replacing the y-axis motor, y origin sensor, IO PCB or main PCB on this unit. I'm in way too tight of a time crunch.

Does anybody know how I can get at the y origin sensor so I can clean it without muching up the linear encoder strip? It's probably just dirty.

Never mind, false alarm!

I had a long, hard look around the cave where the print caddy rests and found another sensor that detects when the print caddy is all the way back at it's origin position. I cleaned it with some isopropyl and shot it with an air can. It has some dust lodged in the vertical slit/sensor causing it to think the print caddy was not moving, causing the error.

Fixed!
