K2 Vinyl?

I have used K2 banner. It's not bad, not as good as their Key, i find my print head picks up some fuzz off of the edges, which in long runs can result in droplets. For short runs, its better than other budget banner I have used.

thanks for the feed back.

didn't realize that K2 had banner material.

was asking about the K2 Vinyl because it was referenced on another site as having a low purchase cost.

Why go away from Oracal or 3M? Proven materials, I sleep better at night knowing I put out a good product! I know new products will come, but I am not going to be the one to "test the waters" and risk my rep to save a couple dollars.

We do carry proven materials. Oracal to be specific, no 3M offered, and Arlon for the banner material.

there is no testing the waters with an unproven product, hence why asking before the material is purchased, if it gets that far, and tested and tried by the shop before being offered, if it is even offered, to customers.

Just asking...never even heard of that material. My point is why change from something you know that works? Are you unhappy with your current film choice?

not unhappy, have nothing but recommendations for ORACAL.

trying to keep an open mind to new products/machines/procedures that are found as evaluation is the name of the game in keeping the customers happy and the doors open.
Seen too many people/places go under because they were unwilling to adapt. and the more information that is obtained the more likely you are of being able to create a unique method that sets you apart.

QFT :goodpost:

Always a good idea to keep an open mind. Sometimes; you can find generic brands that are of the same quality as well-known brands but at a fraction of the costs.
