Our window tint and paint protection supplier, Llumar, just sent us this extremely useful tool for practicing cutting film properly. I think it would be a great tool for any wrap shop to have to train newer people or test new hires.
You can't really see, but there's an alligator clip on the back end of my knife, if your blade cuts through the film and connects the circuit it lets out a beep. Basically Operation for film installers.
P.S. I didn't start my cut right on the edge of the film, so I had to help pull apart with my camera hand.
