^ well then, i won't try to divert the OP from a potential buy... but i'd consier the SP540 right away over the 300... you'll outgrow it quickly.

i love my vp-300. it's already made me lots of money and fits in a space that allowed me to integrate it into an existing retail situation (re: cheap rent).

i'll sub out the big prints to a fine merchant member when that time comes

Pay the extra for the SP540. or better yet the VP540. The size difference will pay for itself quickly and allow you to do vehicle wraps, larger banners, etc... The SP300 is a great "starter" printer.
