L25500 Form Feed And Cut

Hi everyone.. I need some help. My HP L25500 has stopped performing the form feed and cut option to cut off media after a print.

I have been using the same profile and media and all of a sudden it has simply stopped working. In the media handeling option on printer it is activated. I've changed nothing.

The media does advance but the carriage does not move along to activate cutter.

Any ideas please?

Try disabling the take-up reel.

Check your RIP. Maybe you somehow set it not to cut after it is done printing.

I'm having the same issue, I thought it was set on the onyx rip but I can't find that option anywhere.

hi! So I unplugged the take up and it worked fine again. The cutter option is in the profile settings.

Yes, the various media profiles allow an option for auto-cut-off, or disable the cutter.
