P.S. what did you pay for all that? I could have sold you the lot, off one machine, as we have two L25500s here! And 6 or 7 new heads, and 10 or 14 ink cartridges, unopened.

But yes, in the service manual is the steps for geting the HD to be happy. I don;t have the manual on this PC.
I may have my old scribbled notes on the cloning of HD & EPROM somewhere - not sure if I kept them - that was about 4 years ago. I remember I ended up doing it the wrong way round, then had to put the other HD or ISS back and reclone it the right way, and then put the other one in and clone it the right way then there, too.

We had an ISS board die, that's how I learned of the sequence. When i put the new one in, the
EPROM info didn't match the HD.
