L26500 flex cable for printhead

Is this a common problem? The little black peg holding printhead ribbon keeps breaking. Brand new printer is now on its third cover beacause of this issue.

I support over 80 latex units in the field, as well as multiple latex machines in my facility dating back to 2010, and have never encountered that issue. Either some underlying cause on that unit or a user-related issue in all likelihood.

New Member
1st time was from tech that was training me and second one was from repair tech fixing the broken carriage from the training tech. So I would hope the 2 "trained" HP techs would get it right.
