Laid Off?

    Ok, how many people do you know that have been laid off from their job?

    I personally know 5 people.

    If I think about it, I could probably name around 50. A few of them very good designers that I would think would be a huge loss to the company.

    My wife/I lost our jobs after 22 years last October. I took a job for half the amount of wages for the benefits. It's a dog eat dog world out there.

    I delt with 17 truck dealers for 30 years. Only 6 of them left.

    One of our local plants layed off 100 people last spring. I think most are back out there.

    25 where laid off in April from my day time job. First lay off in 42 years of business.
    But we just called 20 back and our Book to Ship for December is just over $7 mil.
    Great turn around here.
