Need Help LAMINATED VINIL TAKING OFF WOOD

RICHARD SIMMONS

New Member
Hi Group! I am preparing some product dispensers, which I elaborate with 3mm plywood, and then put them printed and laminated vinyl. It happens that after a few days, the vinyl begins to take off. I treated the wood first with sandpaper and then sealed it with clear spray, and after well drying, I place the vinyl, but I'm not sure if the vinyl will stick. Any suggestions? Thank you !!

I don't recommend plywood, use another type of wood product with a laminate or aluminum outer piece on it. If it has to be plywood, I will bet the clear spray is affecting it.

How long does your clear coat call for to outgas (completely cure)?
Does this clear coat have VOC or a stain-resistant adaptive? if the clear coat says it is easy to clean or stain-resistant than the vinyl will not stick without doing extra steps.
