Laminator Help

Have a question for all you laminator owners out there. We are going to receive our new laminator soon. Our question is does anyone operate and store their laminators in a nonclimate controlled area? Any issues? Is it okay for the machine? We are in Arizona. During the summer we do run an air conditioner in there but only when we are working in there.

Vinyl expands and contracts a lot due to temperature. If the temperature of your vinyl, laminate and laminator are all different you will have difficulty keeping your lamination runs flat as the materials change size while trying to equalize in temperature. A direct-web roll to roll laminator like an AGL eliminates this issue. A crowned roller table-feed laminator exacerbates the issue. Everyone figures out a work around, but it can cost thousands in material getting a specific process dialed that is repeatable.

We do have a roll to rolll option and we do not store any laminate in the area or do we keep any laminate on the laminator on the machine unless we are using it.
