Large Damper vs. Small Damper

I need a few new dampers for my JV3. I have "large" ones now. But i see there are smaller ones too. I don't really plan on printing tons of stuff.

So whats the difference?

Pretty much how much ink printer keeps in "cache". For example, with small damper, you can print 48x10 ft solid black color for example, then it might start to show some banding. Large one will eliminate the issue. Honestly, i don't know if that is the case, its what i was told. All our printers using large dampers from day one, so can't speak from my own experience of using small ones

Dampers

Stick with what you have . In some cases the ink lines may not reach the small damper once the adapter on the large damper is eliminated.
