Hello,

Is there a price calculator that can be recommended?

I have an HP Latex 335 printer and I’m trying to figure out how to price out my projects

First I need to figure out my cost and than what’s industry standard for mark up.

Thanks

You check a few different sites and average them or simply use one of the formulas. Signcraft pricing guide (I think you have to pay to use it), The Sign Expert Sign Pricing, do a search on Signs.com as if you are a customer. You can use one of them for your pricing or you use a combo until you fill out the Shop Rate Calculator. These kinds of references get you in the ballpark and then you can fine tune from there.

general rule of thumb on standard material is I take my cost per square foot, add in the ink cos(about $0.25/sqft) then add 175%. this gives some room to work with when they have quantity if you want to give a price break.

Arial - it's almost helvetica
I use estimate for quotes. Once you set it up, it makes basic sign quotes pretty mindless and quick. It can do more than that but that's about all we use it for.

I might buy this again. My spreadsheet is ok but way too many pages.
