Laser Engraving Rain Boot?

We are looking to customize some shrimp boots with a relatively small logo -- 3" x 4"
We have tried applying vinyl and screen printing and neither have stuck. We are thinking our next step is laser engraving the rubber. Does anyone have experience or advice on this? We are open to other methods as well.

Bad idea. They are made of PVC. Lasering PVC is a big no-no.

You cannot Lazer PVC. Creates Hydrochloric acid and toxic fumes

They make a silicone based ink for screenprinting on rubber. might be a hassle to work with... I havent tried

There are only companies with water based screen printing set ups in our area sadly.

couldn't you just print it on a high-tack vinyl and stick it on? What about a heat transfer?

How many boots? Maybe you should send it out of area and have it done with proper inkset if the run quantity justifies it.

Depending on how complicated the logo is and how many you’re doing, it may be as simple as cutting a vinyl stencil and using Sipa Paint Markers (or similar). They’re permanent color on rubber.
