Latex 260 Creating a CYMK Test Pattern? (Flexi 10)

I use latest Flexi 10 software.
It gives the option of printing with a color band on the sides of your print (C,M,Y,K,Lm,Lc)
This helps alleviate printhead clogging issues from unused heads.
However it interferes with my registration marks heavily for
cutting on my plotter. The plotter will recognize the edge of the
color band often as one of the registration marks.

So my question is: Is there a custom solution to create a color band?
I know i can just create a 100%K, 100%M swatch etc.
However, i would prefer to use whatever is "HP" official specifications
to trigger the printhead nozzles.

Any suggestions / knowledge on this would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

Maybe cover the color band with tape before registering to cut? Or use manual registration (all I use) if you have to have the color bands?

Yes i do cover the top of the band when i only use 4 corner registration marks.
I use a Graphtec FC8000-130 Plotter.

However when i do a really long run i have to use a series of marks
for accurate cutting. This color band would then require me taping off
around 10+ bands near marks.

A custom color band solution would be
more time saving in my honest opinion.

Im not familar with manual registration, is that possible with my graphtec?

use 4 point

I use the 4 point marks.
I can print up to 53 inch wide and still read the marks.
graphtec cutter
Use the digitizing the bomb
And line up each corner on the round X on 1 2 3 4 hard to explain new to this form.
I don't know if you could call me i could walk you through it it's all I use.
