Thanks0.4 inches less than the media width (0.2in each side).
Is the 52" including barcode & registration? Or can you get your artwork 52"?The widest I've ever been able to print on mine is 52"
Thanks52 includes the registration marks. i don't use the barcode function. but its probably the same as the registration marks. Stacey K , what's the widest youve printed on yours?
did you plot with that width as well? I seem to have some sort of "guard" that won't allow me to print beyond 52 (with plotter), but I don't think I've gone past 52 without plottering. The widest I have ever been able to achieve is 53.5". Just last week as a matter of fact. I needed the full 54" unfortunately. I swear the sales guy told me you could do edge to edge printing but I guess that only works when the media is under 54"
I'm going to have to see about that one. I think MAYBE i've printed 53. NOW, I HAVE fudged my plotting on occassion. If it gets too close to the edge and my plotter won't read it without falling off, I will add strips to the sides to make it fit in the plotter.0.2 inches per side is the minimum margin for print-only jobs. When printing and cutting, there needs to be more space for the fiducial marks to be registered on the cutting device. This reduces the width of the job.
If you have Summa you can just use extended load.I'm going to have to see about that one. I think MAYBE i've printed 53. NOW, I HAVE fudged my plotting on occassion. this thread is specific to the hp315If you have Summa you can just use extended load.
The widest I print is 48" - but I have done 50". My laminator is only 52" so I have to be careful how wide I print. I just tried to send 53" without registration marks and it looks like it will let me. the registration marks add about an 1" on each side of the print.52 includes the registration marks. i don't use the barcode function. but its probably the same as the registration marks.
