latex ink came off banner

Printed a banner over the weekend. Hemmed, grommets and hung. Used a split tube when transporting. Bad Move. Lost ink in a couple spots. No time to reprint. Need ideas on black touch up. Sharpie won't work.

Customer didn't like that look. Headed to an art and craft store to get some ideas.

Ohh... the way you titled it was like it was a failure of the latex ink.

I would try latex paint watered down to get a really thin coat.

how we fixed

After taking a piece to an arts & craft store, here's what we used to fix it.

Delta Cermacoat Select Multi-Surface satin acrylic paint with 0 point paint brush.

That was what the customer liked best.

I liked he Prismacolor Premier pencil myself.
