What are the advantages of one over the other? And which makes more outdoor-durable prints?
Yes, please read up well on this. Hp latex ink dries either immediately or it will tell you on the screen to wait 60 seconds. Then you can immediately put it to use or laminate, etc...also the supplies are less costly. Inks are less costly and the printheads can easily be replaced using 2 fingers and be back to printing in 5 minutes, also they will have 1 to 2 year warranties and cost about $125.00.
With eco solvent, a printhead can be $600 in labor plus the part can easily be $1000 to $2400 and will have a 30 day warranty.
You will be down around a week to 2 weeks during this process. These eco solvent inks take a hours to dry and days to "gas out", then you can laminate and use. Its definitely the best decision to go with Hp latex. Best wishes. CV
