Hello everyone! I've been getting deeper into my new HP L310, and I've been messing around with several different media types. For regular single cut decals, 3M IJ35C seems to be pretty decent for the price. However, when I try to do detailed die-cut stickers that have individual weeding needed/cut, it just doesn't weed/separate very cleanly. I'm using a Graphtec FC8600, by the way, so I doubt it's the cutter causing the issue.
I really want weeding/cutting properties like Oracal 651 offers. That stuff peels like butter, and is really amazing when doing large runs. The only stuff I've printed on that seems to peel/separate well is some Briteline stuff, but it's really thin, so I think that's why. But, it is super cheap material that I'll only offer to customers as a budget substrate.
That being said, can anyone suggest a good media for this? Should I just print on white Oracal 651? Thanks!
