I found a website with really inexpensive dampers and wanted to know how they compare. They look slightly different (larger screen filter) and wanted to know what the benefit/difference would really be.

Has anyone here used lavainks.com tall dampers with a JV3 and water based inks (we use j-eco for dye-sub)?

I'm asking as $20 each is a very good price compared to our ussual supplier's price of nearly $100 each.

My own dealings with Lava Inks left with the feeling that they are nothing more than large scale scammers and produce only the lowest quality of products available, yet market them as high end.

I wouldn't touch them with a 12' pole.
