LED Christmas Lights

So my girlfriend and I put new lights on our tree last night. Plugged it in, and I'm still seeing spots. These new LED lights really suck. Unless maybe you're lighting a runway or something. Anyone else surprised how bright these things are? No big deal - I still like the tree, but man! :Big Laugh

We used them also, we ended putting less lights on the tree this year because of how bright they are.. between the lights on the tree and the new LED tv dam I don't even turn the lights on in the house at night. I think they can see my house from the space..

The cool thing I like is they are not a fragile as the old stile lights are...i pretty much bounce them on the floor and they still work..

I put about 50 (or more) strings of lights on a 6' tree as I love the blaze of lights. the LED work OK for me as the heat of the regular mini bulbs with that many lights was kind of dangerous. you can kind of see my tree thru the wall it's so bright.

Our star burned out this year and we got a replacement star with some LED's in it and now it seems like a Full Moon is in the corner of the room. Sure puts a different light on things....no pun.

Yes Gino - there is a pun. You just need to look closer.
