LED layout

Have to retrofit a bunch of cabinets and need to figure out how many leds we will need, any ideas or help out there?

also, your LED supplier will usually be happy to provide you with a suggested amount of LEDs (and even layouts per letter/cabinet) for optimal illumination.

Is this spacing both verticle & horizontal?

At our shop we use 6" spacing on cabinets up to 5" deep. From 5" to 8" we use 4" spacing. If the cabinet is deeper than 8" we use Sloan SignBOX lighting.

depends on the LED you use, the lumens and radius they output. There should be a recommendation from the dealer or manufacturer.
