As you may know, Al needs another kidney transplant but is not able to get onto the waiting list due to dental issues/no dental insurance.
Luckily two local dentists have donated their services to Al.
Their names are Dr. Timko and Dr. Rawa.
Al has started getting the very painful procedures, and even though it's been hard for him, he knows that it will extend his life by allowing him to get that needed kidney, his third transplant.

Al has asked me to ask if anyone would like to donate a panel to either Dr. Timko or Dr. Rawa or both, they are not in practice together.
The theme for this panel drive is "People Helping People"
The panels can be of any size, type, paint, digital, vinyl, etc.
Al will personally deliver them to the dentists.
His address is:
Alan Checca
524 N. Chestnut St.
Derry, PA 15627
USA
:thankyou::signs101:
Love....Jill

I will make sure i do something for the cause as well...

...in fact if anyone without a printer wants to see a digital print of their creation sent in their behalf... I can print & mount a few 12x18 aluminum panels for people who would like to design something, but don't have a printer. Sure, a hand painted or routed panel would be awesome, but for those with less resources who might like to put a little more into their design then they could reproduce with cut vinyl.. I will offer to print & mount a few extra panels & send them with mine!

Cool! Thanks Bob.
Got a note from my friend Neil in Wales he'll be breaking out the brushes too.
And Doug, that is extra nice of you.
Like I said, any type of panel will be appreciated.
I will make one for each dentist too.

I wanted to say a special thanks to Jill and everyone that can help. These Gentlemen have been so awesome I'd love for them to have something as a thank you for helping me and after walking there halls I thought perhaps art would be a perfect gift.
Something they can display on there wall and be reminded of good deeds done. Think they would look perfectly on the wall and am sure they would be more than willing to proudly display them.
Again I am forever in debit to my brothers and sisters here. Your all so wonderful and keep me going. As stated in the other thread I'm about to start some really bummer procedures this week and will be once a week for the next four weeks...

Again thank you all :thumb:

Jill asked me to post these up to perhaps encourage others to help out. I knocked them out yesterday and will ship them out today. Hopefully these may inspire other to send a panel. If nothing else, maybe it will be a good design exercise for some of you. It should be fun with absolutely no restrictions on design, medium, or size.

I'd be glad to print and send some if someone wants to put together some designs. Anything that has to "look great" I sub out to a designer.

Wow, I think they would love it. Something awesome they can display in the waiting room or exam rooms even.
Thank you so much! Much appreciated! :thankyou:

I wanted to share, I had a chance to "present" Dr Timko with his panel last Thursday when I had an app. Again he was surprised and said what a wonderful group we had. Right away he had his girl run and get a camera and take a picture of him myself and his panel. It was greatly appreciated and I do as well since I can't make a panel right now.
Dr. Timko really is a great guy!
