Haven't really used it, that I know of, but I think I did under a different name. 1-Shot/Chromatic/Ronan..... all lettering enamels. Today, it's more like painting with snot, than the paint I used to use.
How does this stuff cover compared to original 1 shot? Can you lay a nice pinstripe in one stroke? I don't pinstripe but have always wondered how they get the opacity in 1 run
According to the color, you can add some other color paints to help make it more opaque. The problem is, the paint is really no longer opaque whatsoever. So it needs a second coat. Hard to do free-hand. Therefore for striping ya need to be carful what colors you suggest to put on something. Luckily for me, I still have a big ol' stash of original 1-Shot in all the different colors. Just striped a friends car about 4 months ago. One coat was all I needed. No tape.
Why, I.... I..... I..... used to (where is that son-of-a-b!tch) I used to sniff her hair and could smell the paint thinner in the air. Yeah, that's the ticket. C'mon man..... where's the bathroom ?? Jill, Jill..... you out there ?? Which one am I supposed to use now ??
With supply issues being what they are, what paint is everyone using on MDO these days. We do a fair amount of flatbed UV printing onto MDOs still. Have been using Ronan Bulletin White to paint the MDOs, but 1-Shot gave us less issue with fingerprints (from hand oils). We do clean the boards off, but the Bulletin seems to hold onto fingerprints more and they show when we have pastel colors.
I always lettered with 1-shot back in the day but since the EPA took out the lead and chemicals they’re probably all the same now. They don’t last long and chalk up after a few years in the sun.
