Need Help lightweight nylon

Discussion in 'General Signmaking Topics' started by Cyclynn, Aug 28, 2018.

  1. Hello, Good People; good customers of mine just came in wanting lettering on a very lightweight canopy backdrop. I am a mostly vinyl shop; I do some painting, not much. I tested it for vinyl adhesion, and that didn't work. It isn't the canopy vinyl itself... it is a backdrop included with their canopy. Like I said, lightweight nylon. It has a seahawks logo printed on it, but screen printing is out of the question as it is just one.

My question is... can I paint it? They want bright purple. What kind of paint? Will it bleed? I can do a stencil, but I'm afraid of bleed. They're going to let me do a test in a corner of it, but I thought I would ask your advice.

    Thank you!
