linear encoder scale - Generic 150 Linear Encoder Scale 5M VS. rgs20 - JFX1631 plus

Hi all.
I have Mimaki jfx 1631 plus.
One of my gold plated linear encoder scale (RGS20-S scale - 3510MM) is dammaged.
The price of one strip is about 3000 euro.
I've found out that is Generic 150 Linear Encoder Scale 5M, and he is much much cheaper.
Can anyone tell me if this scale will work for my printer as a replacment?
Anyone tried this?

After a lot of searching and lookups, here is my resolts.
Its cheaper to buy the original then to try to apply a different one.
I've also found a technician that has contacts at mimaki and willing to sell me the original product at the cost of 2k$ with all the applience tools thats about 1k cheaper then any one else. It worked out real good!
