Linear foot calculations

So math was never my strong point, can someone answer a mathematical question for me and explain how they figured it out?
If I buy a roll of vinyl that is 30"x150' and I pay $327 for it.
What is my cost of that vinyl per linear foot?

Just to be clear,
A square foot represents an area equivalent to 12" x 12".
A linear foot is 12" off the roll, whatever the width is.

12" X 150 ft=150 sq ft. now you got a roll that is 24" x 150, just double the 150 sq ft so now you have 300 sq ft. got 36" X 150, 3 X the 150=450 sq ft. LINEAR FEET pricing is mostly how you buy cloth cause it std size is 54" tall. same with floor carpet, its a set length of material.

We use this formula for figuring square feet of roll goods -

inches in width x yards long divided by 4 = square feet.

30x50=1500
1500/4= 375
