Liquid laminating on cast vinyl

Hi Guys

Im attempting my first lamination on printed vinyl.
Im going to be using Avery MPI 1900 vinyl which i will print today.
I have 2 questions

1.How long do i need to wait before i can apply the laminate after the media has been printed?
2.How long do i let the laminate set before i can apply the media to the vehicle?

Help would be much appreciated.
Oh and any tips on applying the laminate would be helpful too.

Not sure if this will help because it's a panel.

I printed around 5 or 6p.m. the day before, applied to panel around 9a.m. following morning, rolled on a coat of ClearStar and delivered that afternoon.

With vehicles I would stay away from liquid coatings unless it's for flat surfaces like box trucks or trailers.

I cant seem to get a cast clear film to overlay with.
Ive got orajet clear, will that be suitable to use as an overlay?

You will need either a cast or calendared laminate for your prints. Check here:http://www.falconsa.com/



If you print on cast use cast laminate and calendared on calendared.

This will also require you to get a laminator to apply the film although a Big Squeegee will get the job done.

orajet makes a few clears; you need to be more specific.

Liquid Lamination - Vehicle wraps

Interested and intrigued why you suggest that Liquid lamination is only useful for flat vehicle surfaces. Our experience and one of the key advantages of liquid lamination is its natural bond, excellent flexibility and permanent stable adhesion after application, for all parts of a vehicle. Would agree that leaving overnight is ideal and recommended before coating and another over night in good ambient and good air circulation environment.
