looking at Mutoh Value Jets now. New or used???

So I was getting a very used HP L25500 but on the advise I got here a canceled that. Now I'm looking at either a new Value Jet 628 or a used VJ 1304. I know the 628 is 24" and the 1304 is 48". My question is am I better getting a used printer that's twice as big spend or spend $1000 more and get a brand new printer at half the size. I guess I'm wondering if the 1304 is worth it or am I getting another boat anchor? Thanks for your help.

For a thousand bucks get new with a warranty. Better yet just outsource until you need to bring printing in house. I just had my new 1624x inked up Thursday, but will continue to outsource projects using odd materials, UV prints or huge banners.
