Im just starting out making snowmobile and dirtbike graphic wraps. Im looking into having them printed laminated and cutout locally. I was quoted $11 per square foot. This doesnt seem to bad but i was wondering if anyone on these forums can point me to a vendor or maybe they themselves would be willing to work with me at a lesser cost.
I'm looking for the print to be printed, then laminated so it is around 16mil thick total and then cutout so the pieces are all individual. Shipping would be fine as long as it isnt going to cost me a million dollars extra for packaging. Thanks everyone.

Also i was looking into buying my own printer. I currently run a small sign and tshirt shop now so i know about the diecut side of things. Ive just started researching printing and laminating. I was told and have gathered that if a machine sits idle with nothing being printed for a few days it starts to have issues. Is this true or can certain machines sit for a few days, a week, or more and still be fine and ready to go when you get back to using it.

I recommend Wyld GFI, they're in North Jersey, you can find them in the merchant directory Fred posted.

Wouldn't worry about letting a machine sit either, as long as you keep it powered up and maintained it should be fine. I watched our Roland sit for about a month over the summer before we got hit with a flurry of jobs, no issues whatsoever.

What do you mean by maintain it? What does that entail? Do you need to purge the ink out at all while it sits?

manual cleaning & inspection once a month, other than that I think most machines these days have an auto-clean cycle that runs every 24 hours that will keep the ink from sitting too long.
