Looking for info on perimeter lighting a led sign box

We normally build our sign cabinets with the normal LED modules but I was just looking on the Hanley website and noticed that have leds that you just put around the inside perimeter but they dont say what the maximum distance you can go if you only have a row across the top and the bottom the maximum distance you can go before you have to put a row down the sides. Anyone have experience lighting cabinets this way?

Here is the link to the spec sheet

I am guessing you need to go around the perimeter for those. Not something I would try on my dime. have them send you some modules to test. I have my doubts on the effectiveness

I actually have some of these and you generally only put them in the top and bottom of your cabinet. Of course the top shines down and the bottom shines up.
This are limited to a maximum of 5' tall cabinets. Generally it's recommended for 4' tall. So a 4' X 8' cabinet would work great.

It shoots a thin beam that is almost paper thin and makes a sheet of light. Works well.
