Looking for Onyx profiles Mimaki JV-300-160 Plus...

Just got our new Mimaki JV-300-160 delivered and now looking for existing profiles that will work with ONYX.

*NOTE - we are running our machine dual CMYK - SS21 inks.

**Found some on 3M's website, but not sure if their "8-color" is dual CMYK, or something different? Couldn't find anything on Avery's site....

8 colours are not double CMYK, 8 colours are CMYKLcLmLkO.

We have created some for customers, but cant give it away

I assume because it's new, it's the plus version? If that's the case, here is a link to the profile collection on Mimaki's site. They are ICC files but sometimes they don't load into other RIPS but it's worth a shot. And yes, dual CMYK is still considered 4 color.

Shoot us a message if you're still looking for profiling for this machine. We could have our Color Management Specialist (Tony Rojas) travel to you and build profiles onsite. He's based out of PA, so depending where you are in OH, it's not too bad of a haul. Custom color doesn't come cheap but the improved color matching, better purity/saturation and more neutral grays would result in far less messing around and running color tests which pays for itself pretty quickly. Generally he can knock out three different medias or modes in a day.

A cheaper alternative we sometimes employ is to have you send your media in so that we can profile it at our place. While we don't currently have a JV300 in our showroom, we have several trade-in units in the refurb queue, so once a unit is ready we could profile your media on that. We have Onyx, Caldera, ErgoSoft, InEdit, Flexi and RasterLink/MPM we can profile on. While not technically as good as a profile totally tailored to your exact unit, the Mimaki machines are very stable and little variation so you'd still get excellent results. DM us if you want a quote on either of these services.

The profiles for the older JV300 should also work.

does anyone have Printer and Profile Download Manager Onyx version 12, Machine Mimaki SIJ 320UV
