Looking for Rolling A-Frame Sign / Sandwich Board

I have a customer who wants an A-Frame sign to put on the sidewalk in front of their business. She wants the plastic "fill it with sand" type sign, but also wants wheels for easy portability. I can't seem to find this in the catalogs I have, nor online. Any suggestions?

My back-up plan is to buy some wheels and attach them to an A-Frame, but then I have to worry about the sand leaking where I attach the wheels. Advice here would be appreciated as well.

Thanks!
Lauren

Thanks JHILLDESIGNS. I saw those, too, but I think it needs to be an A-Frame. I will mention that as an option to my customer, though.

ChicagoGraphics, I can't find anything on their website. Do you have a link, or have you ordered these before?

Yep, that's exactly what I'd want in front of my place of business.... a portable, 'A' frame on wheels to make it easy to move in and out everyday. No hassles, no fuss, no struggles. Oh, and it's easy for some passer-by to take it, too.
If you make something too easy for transport, you probably wont have it very long.

Not trying to ruin a sale for you, but what if there isn't a convenient place to lock your sign ??

You want it out by the curb in most cases and there's not always a telephone pole or light standard on your property. Perhaps in this case there is, but at least the OP has been warned to look for such things before blindly selling something which can't be used. :thumb: And not to mention.... anyone else that might be considering doing this same thing.

Give Grimco a call, Plasticade had them on display at there Chicago open house a couple of weeks ago.

Theft isn't a concern specifically. Small town, nice downtown neighborhood, high-traffic area. But portability is, as the sign needs to be wheeled to the end of the block, and the business owner is female, and not into heavy lifting. Ultimately, she asked for wheels on an A-Frame, I'm going to do my best to make it happen.

Yeah, I came across the cheesy ones in my search, too, and I don't think they're going to work either. I tried calling Grimco (thanks ChicagoGraphics!) but the sales rep couldn't find anything that was a folding A-Frame with wheels, either. I think I may end up making something from scratch. At least then it will look the way we want it to...
