That train is from an old clipart book, the image I have is from the 40's. There might be a vector image floating around. It's also in this book...

google "Locomotive clip art" instead of train. I didn't see an exact match but there are 3 or 4 that are very close.

These types of illustrations are old school brush illustrations and have that hand made look so they are a little rough.
I don't know about the original one, but this is the scan from an old clipart book.
