Looking to have Custom ICC Profiles made

Hey there everyone I am looking for someone to possibly make custom ICC profiles for my Mimaki JV3 130 SPII. I am looking for a reliable company that you can send proofs to and then have them make them off of that. I was told there were companies that do that. I only need a couple basic profiles so I don't have to use the stock profiles that come with Flexi 8.1. If anyone knows a good company or has the same setup 2x4 inks with Flexi 8.1 and a JV3 like I have I would be interested in purchasing a couple. Please just let me know and thanks for looking

I know depending on what material / inks you use many manufacturers have them on their sites... You may want to check that out.

Flexi comes loaded with the different company profiles built in and I even delete them here and there and reload from manufacturers site to make sure they haven't been updated but it just isnt as good as I'd like on some color scales is all. The canned profiles work decent just would like it a little better is all.

Sending them off to be made would be pointless and not really any better than the stock profiles. The reason the stock profiles are not "excellent" but simply okay is they were made and optimized for a different machine in a different environment. Each machine has it's own peculiarities and slight differences being one factor, the other much more critical factor is the environment your machine is in. The average temperature and humidity play a huge role in how the inks lay down affecting color and saturation. A JV3 setup in a climate and humidity controlled test lab is going to print slightly different than one in our environment which likely has less control over the average humidity and temperature. Even if you have a humidifier/dehumidifier setup and exacting air temps they are probably still not the same as the environment where the stock profiles were made.

Getting an i1 (or having someone with one come to your shop) and creating the profiles just for your machine and your environment is key.
