Looking to make oval double sided sign, need help

We are looking at making a double sided sign, which we can do no problem but the customer wants an oval shape. We can make the frame for the face by kerf cutting the frame and that works but we arent sure how to make the frame for the actual box. what is the best way to make the frame for the actual box itself?

Are you talking electric sign?

If so do the same thing with an aluminum double sided extrusion. Slice the edges, shape the extrusion, then weld the edges back together.
