If I were raising kids today I would forbid them from reading Mad. Of course that would guarantee that they did.

I ruined a lot of issues of Mad Magazine to see how his folded illustrations would line up. Al Jaffee was one of the greats and had the longest run of any cartoonist at a magazine.

Al Jaffee was the best. His fold-ins made a big impression on me when I was a kid. I remember he did one that was designed to make you think it was one thing, then when you actually did the fold-in, it was something even funnier than what you thought it was going to be.
