Lowen Corporation has agreed to purchase the assets of Image Transform Ltd, Grimes, IA. Image Transform, a 39 year old digital printing company, specializes in dye sublimation fabric printing, retail and point of purchase graphics, fine art reproduction, banners, backlit graphics, museum exhibits and interior signage. "This acquisition positions Lowen to enter several new markets and to continue to broaden our footprint across the printing industry", says Matt Lowen, President and CEO of Lowen Corporation. Ron Cherkas, CEO of Image Transform says , "Lowen brings their strong reputation and more than 60 years of industry - leading operational excellence to our core markets. We were looking for a strong partner with which to grow into the future and we are excited about being a part of the Lowen family." Image Transform will be renamed Lowen Visual Imaging and will continue to serve their existing markets and customers with the same quality and service for which they are known. The addition of Image Transform's Grimes manufacturing facility gives Lowen more than 315 ,000 square-feet of manufacturing and office space and more than 50 large format industrial press installations in four states.
