Magenta Ink not refilling? Sp-300i

Suddenly the magenta ink in my printer does not seem to be refilling naturally as it’s printing.

I’m attaching a few pics. One is of the test prints before and after running a medium cleaning cycle. You can see the magenta is good after the cleaning.
But then when I print a batch of stickers, it seems to run out of magenta ink and not refill it unless I run another cleaning cycle.

Any idea about this? is it something with the pump?

thank you in advance for any assistance.

DIY Printer Fixing Guide
Replace the magenta damper and probably all of them while your in there. Over time the ability of the damper to keep ink flowing to the head weakens and you get drop out like this.

Change all of the cap tops, as well. They are "consumable". If there's a small leak, the damper won't fill as much as it would with no leak. Don't fool with knock-off cap tops, either. They cost you money and AGGRAVATION/lost productivity in the long run.
