making paths wider

think i got it right in saying this lol
i'm new to the vinyl stuff and been playing with diffrent programes and seem to like the flexi at min but is there away to make the vectorized lines wider ?

You need to add a stroke

A stroke is probably what you are looking for, but you might also be thinking about an offset path.
