Mask for Nazdar screen ink on Polyester fabric

We cut paint masks for a local awning company that has a project coming up using Nazdar solvent based screen inks on a brand of polyester fabric called Serge Ferrari Precontraint.

We normally cut masks out of 3M 7125 or FDC Intermediate vinyl, but neither of these products work on this fabric/ink combination. The masks have either been impossible to remove or the adhesive has melted on the edges from the solvent inks, causing the mask to fail.

Are there any present or former screen printers on the site familiar with what material to use as a mask for this ink/fabric combination? Is there a vinyl that uses water based adhesive so the solvent ink won't dissolve it?

The ink is going to eat vinyl because of the adhesion promoter. The ink alone will do it but the ap is going to drastically speed it up. Someone may have a better option but off the top of my head I'd say it needs to be screened or hand painted using pattern and pounce.

It may be that the customer just wants a 2" stripe running the length of the awning. Can anyone recommend a good paper masking tape that would hold up?
