Material compatability?

Can I use 3M optically clear laminate on top of Oracal 3850 that will be digitally printed for a backlit sign face. If not, does 3M have a similar product to the 3850 that I can use with my clear for wraps combo?

You should be able to since Oracal 3850 is a calendered product. You can always place cast on calendered, calendered on calendered, cast on cast, but you never want to do calendered on cast. The shrink rate will cause the overlam to pull the vinyl causing it to curl.

cal over cast = nono

While I do agree with this...Back 4-5 years ago I ran out of 290 laminate and used 210 on a truck job in a pinch (over 3551RA). Regular customer so I see this truck all the time, and it still looks good. Minimal shrinking of the laminate, less than 1/32".
