Material for trade show hanging sign?

Hey guys, I have a customer wanting a 2.5x8' sign that will hang from the ceiling at a trade show. I was thinking 1" gator foam but what would you guys suggest? Something that wouldn't bow in the middle would be ideal.

It would have a digital print applied to it and holes for hanging at the top.

With the introduction of a myriad of different SOFT materials, perhaps a rigid solution is not the best solution. SOFT is different and appealing to the eye

If they're looking for economical a banner w/pole pockets top & btm and a couple pvc pipes will do.

Gator foam is outstanding believe it does not bow and will last, light if mounted proper
