currently printed some labels on orajet 3164 for a local take out and when they put it on their Styrofoam containers the edges will peel in a day or two. any suggestions on what material to use for this?

I believe styrofoam is pretty fragile when it comes to solvents and other strong chemicals. Even though 3164 is listed as a water-based adhesive vs solvent-based, it may be too much for the packaging. Try a little acetone or spray paint on a foam cup to see what I mean.
Whenever people tell me they're specifically putting my stickers on packaging I tell them they should consider doing a small sample run before going whole hog.
