Matte or Mirror Gold ribbon

Anyone use both and give some input. I'm worried about the mirror gold, it seems to lose defintion and its gold color if not viewed from the right angle. The matte has a true gold color from any angle just not shiny.

I have thought about adding the mat gold but then $300 plus price tag for the ribbon and cart are keeping me from it. I use the mirror silver and it's not bad, I would think the gold would be about the same. The silver also looses some of it's shine as the angle changes.
