max length for usb cable on graphtec?

What is the max length I can go with a usb cable on a graphtec ce5000-60? I am thinking about running it up to the ceiling and then down the wall on the other side of the shop. Somewhere around 45 feet is the total run but I am guessing I would only be able to find a 50 foot as the closest length to that.

Thoughts?

Without a signal amplifier, the maximum USB 2 cable length should not exceed around 20 feet (not to exceed 5m/ 16 feet per the spec).
