max metal to pvc

whats the best way to join max metal to pvc. i want to glue the letters i am doing for a building a little more lift. also the pvc allows me to insert threaded studs.
so i need to join max metal to pvc. max metal is aluminum sheet pvc is just pvc.the sign is a outdoor sign. so i rather not use tapes. must be able to stand hot or cold temps. thanks for the help.

We use contact adhesive. We get the stuff in the tanks that look like propane tanks and spray it

I'd use 3M VHB tape & silicone adhesive. It's a combination that is known to work well and failure rates are very low.

Make sure you get exterior grade PVC.
