Has anyone replaced their media clamps on the SP300V, and if so, how often?

It seems mine have been hanging up on Oracal 751 lately when I've been cutting. If I run the clamps across the media after taking them off the rail they almost feel like they are stuck to the media. I've cleaned them off with no improvements.

I covered the bottoms of mine with transfer tape because I noticed the same thing, had them like that for the last 5-6 years.
