Hello all

Just wondering if anyone knows what

CMYK(v) + PASS
CMYK(v) W+PASS
CMYK(v) +PASSv2

stand for in roland versaworks media settings?

I know CMYK stands for the inkset, (v) is for variable dot size but what does + PASS, W+PASS and +PASSv2 stand for?

this is on a roland versaart RS640

thanks
Luke

W-pass is twice the number of passes as the non-w mode at the same resolution. For example, 720x720 CMYK(v) is an 8-pass mode. The same resolution at w-pass mode is 16 passes. Not sure what the v2 is for (RIPC mode possibly?).
