You have 1Tb of FILE STORAGE... not memory! BIG difference.

About the file: any gradients, or transparency lens objects?

How many "undos" are set in Corel Options?

How much RAM is allocated for Corel in Options-Workspace-Memory?
What does your swap disk configuration look like?
How full is your big ol' hard drive?
    Is it heavily fragmented?
Have you run ccleaner to clear out temp files?
